Facilities and Equipment
NGC Testing Services has the equipment and the facilities to measure the structural performance of a wide range of building materials and assemblies.
Our structural testing facilities include:
Axial Load Apparatus
Size of test wall: up to 8 feet in width, up to 10 feet in height, 100,000 lb. capacity
Horizontal Quarter Point Load Apparatus
Size of test specimen: up to 4 feet in width, from 4 feet to 20 feet in length
Air Pressure Load Chamber
Size of test wall: up to 16 feet in length, 10 feet in height, maximum load: 50 PSF
Vacuum Load Chamber
Size of test wall: from 8 feet to 20 feet in height, 4 feet wide, maximum load: 100+ PSF
Racking Load Apparatus
Size of test wall: 8 feet in width, up to 8 feet in height
Impact Load Apparatus
Size of test specimen: 8 feet by 8 feet
